Klevio: Open doors with your phone. Any door, anywhere, anytime.
Klevio offers a comprehensive smart access control solution, transforming existing door entry systems into smart entry systems.
The solution provides keyless entry control through an app, allowing for easy sharing and revoking of keys, visibility of entry activities, and flexibility in issuing time-limited or permanent keys.
This innovative approach results in an exceptional access experience for all users.
MVP/Alpha
Objective:
In the MVP Alpha phase of Klevio's development, the primary focus was on establishing fundamental functionality over design aesthetics.
This phase was critical in laying the groundwork for the more refined versions that followed.
Device Basic Functionality:
The device was designed to replace the standard door-phone system, with the essential capability to open communal doors. This fundamental functionality was crucial for proving the concept and viability of the product.
App Development:
The initial version of the app was streamlined with a specific focus: enabling users to open both communal and the main apartment door, and issue keys to others.
This limited feature set allowed for concentrated efforts on ensuring reliability and ease of use in these core functions.

The Beta
The Beta phase represented a pivotal moment in Klevio's product development, where our focus shifted towards refining the product's design with an emphasis on enhancing user experience and aesthetic appeal.
Device Design Enhancement:
Aesthetic Improvement: More sleek and modern to appeal to a broader audience.
Ergonomic Considerations: More user-friendly and easier to interact with.
App Interface Refinement:
UX Enhancements: A more intuitive layout, improved navigation, and improved UI
New features: Added key features like time-limited keys.
Brand Consistency: Ensured that the app's design was consistent with the overall brand identity.
User-Centred Design Approach:
Feedback Integration: User feedback from the Alpha phase was incorporated to enhance functionality and usability in the Beta phase.
Testing and Validation: Additional rounds of testing were conducted.

Final Product
After the successful launch of Klevio, the company strategically shifted their focus more towards B2B customers, particularly targeting property managers.
This decision was rooted in recognizing the scalable and functional potential of our product in a market that greatly values efficient and smart access control solutions.
Design was specifically tailored to cater to the needs of these B2B clients, with a focus on ease of installation, durability, and the scalability of the system.
What's truly remarkable is that, even five years post-launch, the design of Klevio's product remains largely as I had left it.
This longevity not only speaks volumes about the relevance of design choices but also highlights the adaptability of these designs in an evolving industry.
